From prototype to scale: making your HealthTech investor ready
October 13 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Join the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Accelerated Surgical Care and Novidian, as we explore how your technology architecture can become a barrier to NHS adoption and scale.
Your product works, but will it scale safely, pass clinical scrutiny and survive investor due diligence? Learn the technical and regulatory risks that stall HealthTech growth and how to stay in control.
HealthTech founders face a challenge that most technology startups never encounter. It is not enough to build quickly. Your product must be secure, compliant, clinically credible and able to integrate with complex health and care systems, all while you prepare to raise investment.
Many promising innovations stall not because the idea is wrong, but because the technology behind it cannot withstand scrutiny. Architecture that worked for a pilot may not support NHS scale. Data governance may not meet the expectations of clinical partners. And when investors begin technical due diligence, gaps in documentation, security and regulatory readiness can slow or stop a raise entirely.
In this session, NIHR is joined by CTO in your pocket creator and Novidian founder, specialists in fractional CTO support for early-stage and scaling companies, to explore what it really takes to move from a working product to an investable, scalable HealthTech business.
