SUMMARY:HealthTech Forum: Accelerating the development of HealthTech for Rehabilitation
DESCRIPTION:Join the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Rehabilitation for the latest instalment of the HealthTech Forum’s event series\, sharing knowledge and insights from across the HealthTech landscape. This webinar will provides insights into the use of HealthTech in Rehabilitation\, and the innovative framework employed by the HRC in Rehabilitation to support innovators. \nHealthTech Research Centre (HRCs) help medical devices\, digital technology\, diagnostics and in vitro diagnostics innovators to develop\, evaluate and validate new health innovations to address healthcare challenges. As a recently established research centre\, the HRC in Rehabilitation has developed a unique methodology for pairing innovators to the right support. The HRC will share insightful reflections on the 3 successful rounds of innovator calls they have completed using this methodology so far. \nAttendees can expect to learn about: \n\nHealthTech in Rehabilitation: an introduction to the significance of medical devices\, diagnostics and digital technologies used in Rehabilitation.\nA new framework for onboarding innovators: an overview of the unique innovation funnel support framework utilised by the HRC in Rehabilitation.\nOperational learnings: transparent reflections on the new framework and the lessons learned over its first year of operation.\n\nThe session will be especially useful for Rehabilitation HealthTech innovators\, research professionals and anyone interested in the work of NIHR’s HealthTech Research Centres.
