SUMMARY:Introduction to ANOVA
DESCRIPTION:This module is aimed at researchers in the laboratory and medical fields. It is suitable for those who have\nno previous experience of data analysis\, as well as those seeking to refresh their skills. Understanding the assumptions\nand characteristics of statistical methods is important in order to obtain the correct analysis and biological interpretation\nof results. \nIn this workshop we introduce the issues and design concepts that need to be taken into consideration when planning a study using single\, replicate or repeated test samples\, or planning a simple dose-response study. The workshop will build on the standard hypothesis tests to consider situations where there are more than two comparator groups or more than one sample per subject.

SUMMARY:Do you have questions about organ donation and transplantation research?
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered what kind of research the Blood and Transplant Research Unit in Organ Donation and Transplantation (BTRU in ODT) does? How donated organs become part of a research project? What a clinical trial is? Or what the role of a Specialist Nurse in Organ Donation (SNOD) is? \nJoin the BTRU ODT on Thursday 5 December for this webinar where they will answer YOUR questions. They’ll be joined by special guest speakers from both NHS Blood and Transplant and the Blood and Transplant Research Unit in Organ Donation and Transplantation\, who will share their expertise and take you through the research process.
