SUMMARY:The ReMed Conference: ‘Beyond Disposal: Building a Circular Economy for Medical Devices
DESCRIPTION:The conference aims to provide an overview of the latest research and current industrial initiatives in support of the application of the Circular Economy in the healthcare sector. The programme will feature: \n\nPresentations from industrial and academic practitioners\nPoster session showcasing the latest leading research\nIndustry exhibition and technology demonstrations\n\nWe invite practitioners and leaders working within the NHS and healthcare sector\, industry professionals from across the healthcare supply and recovery chain\, and academic researchers working within multidisciplinary fields encompassing sustainability within the healthcare sector\, to join the conference and contribute to this vibrant and active community. \nThere will be a dedicated poster session during the conference\, with prizes available for the top 3 posters. We welcome poster presentations from academic and industry researchers who would like to share their latest research achievements with conference delegates. We welcome submissions of research around the topic of ‘circular economy of small medical devices’ and from multiple disciplines\, including: engineering\, modelling\, design\, business\, and healthcare science.
