SUMMARY:Supporting Your Future: up to £10M in Investment Funding Awaits
DESCRIPTION:Co-hosted by Hill Dickinson LLP and Medilink\, this event is a fantastic opportunity for your company – alongside a select group of other medtech companies – to pitch to some of the region’s most prolific high-growth equity investors. You’ll have the chance to present your company’s latest developments\, with time afterward for investors to ask questions and explore the potential for investment. \nWith investment opportunities ranging from £500K to £10M\, this event offers a significant chance to secure the funding your company needs to grow and develop. \nAfter the formal presentations we’ll move into a relaxed networking session with drinks\, where you can connect with other companies in the sector. \nTo secure your position\, you’ll be asked to complete an application that includes a minimum turnover / ARR requirement. While there’s no attendance fee for the event\, we do ask each participant to make a donation to our chosen charity\, The Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Appeal. The suggested donation amount is £99. \nWe hope you can join us for what promises to be an engaging and rewarding event. \nTo register your interest for this event\, please follow the link below.

SUMMARY:Getting the most out of IRAS
DESCRIPTION:Being able to provide a full\, complete and accurate IRAS submission should help to make your approval process run much more smoothly\, but many people struggle with some aspects of IRAS. This half day course is designed to supplement the existing IRAS and HRA guidance by working through the standard and combined review IRAS systems as well as the amendments section in a live environment. \nDuring this course\, we will concentrate on those questions and functions that many applicants struggle with\, such as:  \n\nHow to complete the project filter?\nWhat is the most effective way to navigate the system?\nHow do I transfer the project to other collaborators?\n\nThe course will give you the opportunity to ask questions about both the system and the submission process and understand the best way to ensure your application fully reflects the detail of your research. \nWho should attend? \nAnyone who has to create and submit an IRAS application and those who support applicants. The course is relevant to NHS\, academic and industry researchers.
