DESCRIPTION:Medipex and Health Innovation Yorkshire and Humber are excited to announce that our joint Innovation Champion Network (ICN) is coming back!  Aimed at all staff working in the NHS across the Yorkshire and Humber region\, free events and resources will help discover why and how to innovate to deliver patient benefits. \nOur offering under the ICN is a combination of online workshops and resources (FutureNHS space) to help NHS staff to take the first step into innovation activities and to network with other like-minded individuals from other organisations to help each other solve problems.  Practical advice will be given as well as signposting to relevant sources of support for those that have an idea that they want to progress. \nThis is exclusively for NHS staff across Yorkshire and Humber.

DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to announce our first public lecture as part of our brand-new ‘Research in Conversation’ Event Series. \nThis November\, we’re opening the doors to our newest establishment: Daphne Steele\, within the new National Health Innovation Campus at the University of Huddersfield\, and you’re invited! \nAs part of our event\, you’ll have the pleasure of hearing from Professor Liz Towns Andrews\, who will be giving an overview of current activities\, future plans and vision for the National Health Innovation Campus. \nFollowing this you’ll hear an insightful presentation by Professor Jane Owen-Lynch (acting Dean of the School of Human and Health Sciences)\, as she showcases the groundbreaking research and innovative projects taking place in the Daphne Steele Building. \nEach of our lectures will give you the opportunity to get involved with a question-and-answer session\, and the chance to network with like-minded individuals\, with complimentary refreshments and sweet treats. \nOur Research in Conversation events are free and open to members of the public\, students and staff.

DESCRIPTION:The NIHR-supported Community Rehabilitation Research Network (CRRN) Incubator aims to increase research capacity in community care settings. \nAttend this 50-minute webinar to learn more about the CRRN\, including its aims\, activities\, resources and support it provides for research careers in community rehabilitation. \nThe CRRN brings together health and social care practitioners\, academics\, and third sector organisations to foster new links and support the development of research to address the needs of the community\, including underserved groups. \nAttendees will learn about how the CRRN can support you to develop multidisciplinary research teams and collaborations in community research settings. They will also hear about the latest NIHR funding opportunities to support community rehabilitation research.
