NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Brain Health
The Centre will investigate three main areas, using cutting edge technology to solve major challenges in the field of brain health and dementia research in diagnosis, care, and treatment. Brain scanning, blood sampling, computerised testing and technology will be used to create a more intelligent way of diagnosing dementia in the early stages of the condition.

NIHR Healthtech Research Centre in Diagnostic and Technology Evaluation
Evaluating new diagnostics including in vitro diagnostic tests and diagnostic devices, including technologies related to imaging, artificial intelligence, and digital healthcare. They evaluate diagnostics for Ageing and Multiple Long-Term Conditions, Infection and Precision Medicine and Rare Diseases.
NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Emergency and Acute Care
Fundamental purpose is to transform emergency and acute care by developing and deploying new technologies for the detection, diagnosis and monitoring of disease, and embedding these technologies into the way that health and care services look after patients.

Focus on the evaluation, commercialisation, adoption and deployment of child health technologies. The NIHR HRC in Paediatrics and Child Health focuses on five core themes: Early Life, Long-Term Conditions, Transition, Mind-Body Integration and Child Health AI Network.
