Proof-of-Concept

Technology stage:  I would like to identify practical applications for my innovation and/or secure proof of concept/proof of principle

Our offering:

  • Work out value proposition and conduct care pathway analysis
  • identification of proof of concept funding for projects that have identified clinical, academic and/or industry collaborators
  • hosting industry showcase events with relevant academics and clinicians for industry
  • obtain patient and public input to support further technology development
  • provide clinical, academic and patient expertise for grant funding applications

Next steps:  We can facilitate access to academics for lab-based studies to validate analytical predictions or healthcare professionals to conduct proof-of-concept in a clinical setting.

As most HealthTech funders are requesting evidence of end-user engagement (i.e. patients), why not arrange a HealthTech Focus Group with a patient group that is diverse and reflects the target population of your technology.  Contact hrc-surgical@leeds.ac.uk.
